✍The Geneva national dialogue conference

From 31 October to 4 November 1983 the leaders of the parties (Gemayel, Frangieh, Jumblatt, Berri, Karami, Chamoun, Solh, Hoss, Wazzan) met in Geneva under Syrian–Saudi sponsorship and agreed on Lebanon's Arab identity and a request to reconsider the 17 May Agreement, without political reforms.
