⚰The second Ghaziyeh massacre: the funeral of the previous day's dead bombed

On 8 August 2006 four raids caught the people of Ghaziyeh as they buried the previous day's fifteen martyrs, and 14 more were martyred; aircraft dropped leaflets over Tyre declaring every car south of the Litani a target. At Tallet al-Freiz east of Ainata the enemy admitted five soldiers killed and four tanks and a bulldozer destroyed, Ainata became "a graveyard of tanks", and Golani was driven back from the Tiri reservoir.
