✍Damascus ceasefire between Amal and the Palestinian Salvation Front

On 17 June 1985 a ceasefire was signed in Damascus between the Amal Movement and the Palestinian National Salvation Front, ending the first round of the War of the Camps after a month in which hundreds were killed and Sabra was destroyed; the fighting resumed in September.
