●The helicopter disaster: 73 Israeli soldiers killed

On the night of 4 February 1997 two Israeli transport helicopters collided over She'ar Yashuv on their way to the security belt, killing 73 soldiers, Israel's largest loss in Lebanon in a single incident; the "Four Mothers" movement was born from it.
