●"Rise and Kill First" reveals Israel ran the Front for the Liberation of Lebanon from Foreigners

In January 2018 the Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman published his book "Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel's Targeted Assassinations", revealing on the basis of interviews with Israeli officials that the "Front for the Liberation of Lebanon from Foreigners" was "a terrorist organisation run by Israel in Lebanon between 1980 and 1983", set up by Eitan, Ben-Gal and Dagan, and that an inquiry ordered by Menachem Begin after an officer's complaint proved the government had been misled about the Israeli role. The book quoted a Mossad official that the same Front carried out the bombing of Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah's house in Bir al-Abed in March 1985.
