●Nasrallah on his son Hadi's death

On 13 September 1997, the day after his son Hadi's martyrdom at Jabal al-Rafi, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah spoke to the mourners, saying he used to feel ashamed before the martyrs' families and that God "has honoured us by choosing a martyr from our house", and refusing any special treatment for his son in an exchange; the speech fixed his image in the resistance community.
