⚔The siege of Beirut begins

On 14 June 1982 Israeli forces reached Baabda, cut the Damascus road and closed the siege around West Beirut, where the PLO leadership and thousands of fighters were; the siege, with water and electricity cut and daily shelling, lasted until the departure agreement in August.
