✍The Treaty of Brotherhood, Cooperation and Coordination with Syria

On 22 May 1991 Hrawi and Assad signed in Damascus the Treaty of Brotherhood, Cooperation and Coordination, which created the Lebanese–Syrian Higher Council and joint committees in every field; the Defence and Security Agreement followed in September.
