●Ethiopian Airlines flight 409 crashes off Beirut

At dawn on 25 January 2010 Ethiopian Airlines flight 409 crashed into the sea near Naameh minutes after take-off from Beirut airport in a storm, killing its 90 passengers and crew, most of them Lebanese and Ethiopians; the Lebanese investigation concluded crew error, and the airline objected.
