On 5 August 2006, the twenty-fifth day and the fiercest in the air (some 500 raids and 5,000 shells), the mujahideen and the Lebanese army foiled a naval commando landing in the orchards of Shabriha near Tyre; the enemy admitted ten casualties and a Lebanese soldier was martyred. The al-Nour radio building in Haret Hreik and buildings on the Sayyed Hadi Nasrallah highway were destroyed, and the resistance shelled the Galilee division's headquarters at Biranit, the Hamoul and Eilabun bases, Acre and Haifa with Raad 2. The Saudi preacher Safar al-Hawali issued a "party of Satan" fatwa after Ibn Jibreen's fatwa, and the latter retracted a day later under pressure from Akef and Qaradawi.
