●Post-2024-war wave of collaborator arrests: 32 detained, 21 handed over by Hezbollah

With the ceasefire of 27 November 2024 the pursuit of those suspected of dealing with Israel accelerated: six were arrested before the ceasefire, and the number reached 32 detainees according to a judicial source in October 2025 (nine tried and 23 under investigation), among them people who photographed buildings Israel took for weapons depots, people who supplied it with the names of the new commanders, and people accused of providing information that led to the assassinations of Fouad Shukr and Ibrahim Aqil. Hezbollah handed 21 suspects (13 Lebanese, six Syrians and two Palestinians) to the official services, among them the son of a prominent cadre. Analysts say many were recruited over the internet, exploiting the economic collapse.
