●Yemen solidarity rally: "the Yemenis need no certificate of their Arabness"

On 17 April 2015 Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah spoke at the rally of solidarity with the Yemeni people in the southern suburbs, rejecting the justifications for "Decisive Storm" (restoring legitimacy, the Yemeni danger, Iranian influence) and holding that its aim was to restore Saudi–American control over Yemen and that it had failed in its declared aims; he praised the Yemenis' steadfastness and said Iran had offered dialogue repeatedly and Riyadh had refused: "We are a people answerable before God and we will be held to account for our position."
