⚔150 rockets in an hour: eight killed in Acre and the north

On 3 August 2006 the resistance rained some 150 rockets on the settlements in less than an hour, then 150 more, and the occupation admitted eight settlers killed and dozens wounded; the mujahideen destroyed six Merkava tanks on the Aita al-Shaab, Shihine and Jebbain axes and the enemy announced four soldiers killed. In the evening Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah declared the Beirut–Tel Aviv equation, an emergency summit of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference in Kuala Lumpur condemned the aggression in the absence of every Arab leader, and Chávez withdrew Venezuela's ambassador from Israel.
