✍Amal–Hezbollah agreement ends the war

On 5 November 1990 Nabih Berri and Sheikh Sobhi Tufayli signed in Damascus, under Syrian–Iranian sponsorship, the final agreement ending the "war of brothers" after three years of fighting in the South and the southern suburbs; the army redeployed in the suburbs and the two sides exchanged prisoners.
