☠Assassination of Walid Eido

On 13 June 2007 the deputy Walid Eido (Future Movement) and his son were assassinated by a car bomb at the Manara in Beirut together with eight others; one of the series of assassinations of 14 March deputies that whittled down the parliamentary majority.
