✸Hijacking of TWA flight 840

Two members of the organisation, Leila Khaled and Salim Issawi, hijacked the aircraft. Rabin was not on board the flight. The hijackers forced the pilots to land the aircraft at Damascus international airport in Syria. After the aircraft, a Boeing 707, was evacuated, they blew up its nose section.
