⚔Jamhour barracks strike: 11 Lebanese soldiers killed, the Rmeileh convoy massacre

On 17 July 2006 aircraft bombed the engineering regiment's barracks at Jamhour, martyring 11 soldiers, among them four officers, and bombs hit a convoy of displaced people at Rmeileh, martyring 12; the bombing of the airport, the port, the Dora grain silos and factories in Choueifat, Hosh Sneid and Taanayel was renewed, while the resistance shelled the Northern Command headquarters in Safed, the air operations command at Meron, Acre and Karmiel with Raad 2 and 3 rockets. Olmert set out his conditions: the return of the two soldiers, the army's deployment in the South, and the implementation of 1559.
