✸First Merkava tank destroyed near al-Ahmadiya

On 7 March 1991 the Islamic Resistance destroyed a Merkava tank and killed its crew with a roadside bomb near the al-Ahmadiya position; the first documented hit on a Merkava tank in Lebanon.
