✸Two Israeli soldiers sniped near Zarit in reply to the Awali assassination

On 20 July 2004, the day after the assassination of Ghaleb Awali, the Islamic Resistance killed two soldiers of the intelligence unit during a mission at a position near the settlement of Zarit; the first direct reply across the Blue Line outside the Shebaa Farms since the liberation.
