On 15 July 2006 Israel warned the people of Marwahin to evacuate and the UN forces refused to take them in, so they boarded pickup trucks towards Chamaa, where helicopters struck them; twenty were martyred (23 by later investigations), the bodies of 18 of them burned, most of them children. The same day the buildings around the general secretariat in Haret Hreik were razed, Tiberias came within rocket range, the number of martyrs passed 110 and ninety thousand fled to Syria, and Amr Moussa called for "the language of arms" if the Security Council failed.
