On 4 November 1983 a martyrdom bomber in a pickup truck stormed the Israeli intelligence headquarters in Tyre; Israel admitted 29 of its soldiers killed. The second martyrdom operation since the invasion, after Ahmad Qassir's operation at the first building a year earlier.
