¤Staff-level agreement with the IMF

On 7 April 2022 Lebanon and the IMF reached a staff-level agreement on a three-billion-dollar programme over four years, conditional on prior reforms: a capital control law, bank restructuring, an audit of the Banque du Liban, and unification of the exchange rate; most were never carried out and the agreement remained suspended.
