●Security clampdown on the Palestinian camps

The founding of the "Directorate of Palestinian Refugee Affairs". The directorate was created by official decree to organise the refugees' civil status. This coincided with the turning of the camps' administration into a purely security file under the authority of the army's Deuxième Bureau.
