With the start of the American invasion of Iraq in March 2003 Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speeches followed one another, warning that America "will sink in the Iraqi quagmire", calling on the Iraqis to resist the occupation, and holding that Lebanon and Syria were the next target after Baghdad.
